Sunday (5/11) – What a weekend
What a weekend, we over came weather, technical difficulties, mechanical issues with our irrigation and starting gate. We over came it all to have a great first race!!! Thank you to all our volunteers, racers and moto families that chipped in! We are working on some timing and scoring issues, we will post the trackside results when everything gets sorted. Please be patient…
We have a list of things we will work on, including number of classes, we will be more strict about a minimum number of riders to run a class and other things that will make our days quicker and enjoyable for everyone. We have some weekend photos courtesy of Jennifer Keefe, thank you for sharing! Congrats to all the Moms who raced our Mother’s Day pit bike relay!
Next race weekend is May 24th practice, May 25th Race.
This will be our first VT/NH showdown. If you have not seen this, it’s bragging rights only class, our VT racers VS NH racers, it’s one of the best classes to see great racing that we have at the track. Come cheer on your state!
Shout out to Phil Salvail, Rich Thibault and Brett Johnson for prepping a nearly perfect track! The biggest thank you to Melissa Underhill-Tucker for saving the weekend about 30 times , these races don’t happen without you. Thank you to all our flaggers, awesome job!
New videos of track after Sunday’s (5/11) race.
Saturday (5/10) Practice Canceled
We are trying to post early so people can make plans.
We will be cancelling Saturday practice. With most forecast calling for at least 1.5” of rain Friday and Saturday we will cancel Saturday in order to have a track that we can race on Sunday. We don’t anticipate cancelling Sunday, but if we do we will do it as early as possible Saturday. If we some how don’t get rain , Friday , Friday night and the forecast for Saturday rain changes, we will do a Saturday practice, it’s New England weather anything’s possible. We will update if we see any big changes in forecasts.
